This lot features the SL-28 variety, originally from Kenya, and underwent innovative processing including ultrasound treatment, sterilization with ozonated water and ultraviolet light, double thermal shock, double anaerobic yeast fermentation, and controlled drying. The coffee presents winey and complex flavors with tasting notes of cherry bubblegum, pink champagne, freesia, huckleberry jam, blue raspberry, and sweet tarts. Grown at 1950 meters elevation. Awarded 96 points by Coffee Review. This same lot was used to win 1st and 4th place at Colombia's national barista championship.
