Colombia El Buho Sugarcane Decaff
Summary
Single-origin decaffeinated coffee from various farmers in the Huila and Tolima regions of southwest Colombia. Varieties include Castillo, Caturra and Colombia. Washed and decaffeinated using the natural sugarcane (Ethyl Acetate) process, which preserves flavour and keeps money in the local economy. Cup profile is deeply sweet like demerara sugar, with creamy chocolate, raisin and baked apple notes and soft acidity. Brews well as espresso or filter, ideal for a late afternoon flat white or after-dinner French press.
