Buena Vista
Summary
A Colombian competition filter coffee from Finca Buena Vista in Pitalito, Huila, grown at 1720 MASL and produced by Juan Darío Gómez. The Pink Bourbon variety undergoes an anaerobic washed process: fully ripe cherries are fermented in bags for 36 hours, mechanically pulped, then given a second 36-hour dry fermentation with oxygen exposure before being rinsed twice and dried slowly for around 15 days. Intensively chocolaty and sweet, with notes of Nutella, Baileys and cherry, and a rich, indulgent cup with creamy liqueur character and a juicy cherry finish.
