Buenavista Farm – Colombia
Summary
Single-origin Colombian coffee from Finca Buenavista in Vereda Primavera, Pitalito, Huila, grown by producer José Ordóñez at 1,650 metres above sea level. The farm has been in his ownership for over 20 years and holds 12,000 coffee trees. The Caturra variety is selectively hand-picked every three weeks, floated and sorted by water, pulped, fermented for 7 to 10 hours, then sun-dried. The cup shows sweet honey and toffee notes with floral and orange accents, a light body and medium/high acidity.
