Summary
Microlot from the Los Aguacates farm, a 6-hectare plot run by Luis Ernesto and Cenaida Nieto near China Alta, Ibagué, in Colombia's Tolima department, at 1,850 m. Planted with Colombia and Caturra varieties, selectively hand-picked and processed by the washed method: hand depulping, prolonged fermentation in the cool climate, washing with water from the La China River and slow drying for 10–18 days on raised beds in a greenhouse. The cup shows tropical acidity with notes of passion fruit, papaya and lime, candied sweetness and a juicy body — distinct and complex.
