Summary
La Joyería is a washed coffee from the Antioquia region of Colombia, produced by the Echavarria Family at the Santa Bárbara Estate. Grown at 1,700 metres above sea level and of the Colombia variety, it undergoes a unique fermentation process where two days of picking are combined, allowing for extended fermentation time. The coffee presents tasting notes of plum, cocoa and tablet. The Santa Bárbara Estate employs workers year-round with fair wages and provides housing and scholarship programs for employees and their families.
