La Esmeralda - Gesha - Limited Edition
Summary
A limited-edition Yellow Gesha from Cesar Buesaquillo's farm in the Buena Vista region of Colombia, grown at 1900-2200 m. Only one or two of the 1,000 Gesha trees on the farm produce yellow cherries. The ripest cherries are sorted at La Esmeralda farm, then undergo a 45-hour aerobic fermentation before drying on the roof for 10 to 15 days. The cup is smooth and clean with floral notes, delicate acidity, silky mouthfeel and a blueberry aftertaste, with taste notes of green apple, lime and blueberry.
