Colombia: Mikava Santuario Extended
Summary
A Colombian Gesha from Mikava farm in Santuario, Risaralda, grown at 2000 m by Paul and Kevin Doyle on volcanic hills near Tatamá National Natural Park. This Extended lot undergoes a natural process with carbonic maceration in pressurized tanks for 20 days, followed by sun-drying and slow shaded drying under 40 °C (SASD). The cup shows cherry, melon, rose, strawberry, raspberry, wild strawberry and blueberry, with elegant lactic, malic and acetic acidity, a medium juicy body and a clean, persistent finish. Recommended for filter.
