Colombia: Java Fruit Forward
Summary
Colombian Gesha from Mikava farm, grown by Paul and Kevin Doyle in Santuario, Risaralda, at 2000 m near Tatamá National Natural Park. Natural process with carbonic maceration in pressurized tanks for 20 days, followed by sun drying and slow drying on raised beds under shade nets (SASD). The cup shows cherry, melon, rose, strawberry, raspberry, wild strawberry and blueberry, with elegant lactic, malic and acetic acidity, a medium juicy body and a clean, persistent finish. Recommended for filter brewing.
