Summary
El Carmen is a decaffeinated coffee from Colombia, produced by the Association El Carmen in the Pitalito region of Huila at 1700–2100 meters above sea level. The coffee consists of Caturra, Castillo, and Colombia varieties, is washed, and decaffeinated using ethyl acetate derived from sugar cane. It offers a flavour profile of macadamia, caramel cream, and pear. Designed as an omniroast, it is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing methods.
