Suedhang

Suedhang is a specialty coffee roaster and café in Tübingen, Germany, founded by Robin and Martin. They're best known for their deep dive into Canephora (robusta)—developing their own roast profiles and brew methods, and even publishing a book about it. Radical transparency is central: they publish invoices and business documents so customers can judge for themselves. They roast for both filter and espresso, offer a house subscription, and run a daily café in Tübingen's city center. Politically outspoken and unafraid to stir things up (their oat-milk VAT activism made waves), Suedhang is as much about rethinking coffee's role in the world as it is about what's in your cup.
