La Guaca
Summary
A micro-lot from Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, produced by José Herman Salazar and roasted for filter. The coffee is the Ají variety, a Huila cultivar related to Ethiopian landraces rather than to Bourbon, which brings a distinct floral character. Washed processed, it is elegant and sweet, with soft pink florals balanced by a gentle zing that lingers into a smooth finish. Tasting notes of red berries, tangerine and elderflower.
