Ayla Bombe (espresso)
Summary
This single-origin coffee from the Sidamo region of Ethiopia is produced by about 800 smallholder farmers delivering cherries to the Ayla washing station, founded by Faysel Abdosh in 2018. The coffee is grown at 1,950–2,000 meters above sea level. Varieties: JARC 74110 and JARC 74158. The fully washed process involves selective hand-picking, depulping, 36–48 hour fermentation in tanks, washing with clean water, and drying on raised beds. Flavour notes: pink lemonade, apricot, honey.
