El Oasis Gesha
Summary
El Oasis is a family-run project in Bella Vista, Tolima, Colombia, founded by chefs Fernando Bocanegra and Pedro Lugo at 2,150 m. The farm is dedicated exclusively to the Gesha variety. Ripe cherries are hand-picked and given a washed process with a controlled 60-hour anaerobic fermentation, with pH and temperature monitored, followed by slow drying on African beds for 10-14 days. In the cup it shows jasmine, honey and white tea, with maple syrup, vanilla, stone fruit and a citrus lift, bright balanced acidity, silky body and a long floral, sweet finish.
