Summary

Del Valle is a washed Guatemalan coffee from the Fraijanes highlands, grown at 1,600-1,700 m by Marvin Carias and his family, who run their own washing station, together with neighbouring smallholders. The lot comprises Bourbon, Caturra and Catuaí varieties; cherries are depulped, washed and dried on patios. In the cup it is sweet and balanced with notes of praline, chocolate and almond, a creamy body, mild acidity and a long finish. Recommended for espresso, super-automatic machines and moka pot.
