El Encanto Gesha
Summary
El Encanto is a family-run project in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, at 1,650 metres above sea level, focused on producing coffees with a distinctive sensory identity. This Gesha lot, developed with Cata Export, uses an Advanced Natural anaerobic process: fully ripe cherries undergo controlled oxidation followed by monitored natural fermentation, then slow drying and stabilisation. In the cup it shows fragrant floral notes of rose water and lavender, with lemongrass, juicy acidity and a creamy body. Suited to filter and espresso.
