Cuenca Gesha
Summary
Single-origin Gesha micro-lot from Finca La Soledad in La Plata, Huila, Colombia, produced by Gelver Cuenca Garcia at 1,900 meters above sea level. The cherries are hand-picked and processed using a unique semi-washed method: washed in the traditional Colombian manner but carefully rinsed to leave a small amount of sugary mucilage on the bean, then dried on movable beds inside a marquesina greenhouse. This yields an elegant, sweet and refined filter coffee with notes of apricot, stewed apple and stroopwafel. Brewing guide: V60/Origami, 60g per litre in 3:00-3:30 minutes.
