Summary

Cata Reserva Filter is a single-origin washed coffee from the Cata Reserva farm in Timaná, Huila, Colombia, a region famous for high-quality coffee. The 30-hectare farm was previously owned by Rodrigo Cortés and is now managed in partnership with Colombian exporter Cata. The coffee is Castillo variety, grown without chemical fertilisers to prioritise soil health. Cherries are hand-picked, pulped, given 24 hours of controlled oxidation for complexity and cup clarity, then sun-dried on raised beds to 11% moisture. The cup offers grape, nectarine and rooibos notes with balance, sweetness and a tea-like profile.
