Iloma
Summary
Iloma is a fully washed single-origin Arabica from the Songwe region in southwestern Tanzania, produced by the Iloma AMCOS cooperative, which brings together 391 farmers from the villages of Mafumbo and Ilomba. The coffee is grown at about 1,830 m on nutrient-rich clay soils, made up mainly of Bourbon varieties. The cherries are hand-picked, sorted in water, fermented for 24–36 hours, washed, soaked for 8–12 hours, and dried on African beds for 7–14 days. The light roast cup is spicy, with dark berries and forest honey, balanced acidity and body.
