Acacia Hills Pacamara
Summary
Single-origin coffee from Acacia Hills farm on the slopes of Mount Oldeani in the Karatu region of northern Tanzania, grown at 1,750–1,950 masl. The Pacamara AA variety is fully washed: ripe cherries are hand-picked, pulped, fermented in open tanks for 12–13 hours, washed, density-sorted and dried on raised African beds for 13–16 days to 12% moisture. The cup is sweet and comforting, with milk chocolate, date and citrus peel in the fragrance, butter, pear and molasses on the palate, a syrupy body and balanced medium acidity.
