Panama: Abu Natural Gn-3345
Summary
Panama Gesha from Abu Coffee, produced by Jose Luttrell in Cañas Verdes, Boquete, at 1600 m. Natural process: whole cherries pre-dried in the sun for about 120 hours, then fermented 72 hours in sealed GrainPro bags submerged in spring water, rehydrated with must from previous Gesha lots, and dried on raised beds for about 30 days. In the cup it opens with ripe berries, blackberry and strawberry, followed by cherry and purple grape; lavender adds floral elegance, while chocolate and citronella bring depth and freshness. Medium, juicy body, well-integrated citric acidity, long finish. Recommended for filter.
