
Abu Coffee Geisha Washed Lot 3365
Summary
This coffee comes from Abu Coffee farm in Canas Verdes, Boquete, Panama, owned by producer Jose Luttrell. It is a Geisha variety processed using Hybrid Washed method: cherries are depulped, macerated in closed tanks with mosto mucilage for 96 hours, fully hand-washed with mountain spring water, and dried on raised beds for 15 days. Grown at 1,600 masl. Flavour profile includes white florals, apricot, nectarine, and pear.

Grind: 700 to 800 microns
- 1.Pour 40 ml in a circular manner.
- 2.Let the coffee bloom until 30-40 seconds. (30 s)
- 3.Continuing in a circular manner, pour 70 ml more, until 110 ml, by 1 minute and 10 seconds.
- 4.Still in circles, pour the next 70 ml to make 180 ml within 2 minutes.
- 5.For the last pour, focus at the center until 225 ml.
Pre-wet the paper filter on the dripper before adding coffee. If water drains slower than 3 minutes or faster than 2 minutes and 30 seconds, adjust grind size.
