Pétalo Solar
Summary
Pétalo Solar is a specialty coffee from Colombia's Tolima region, produced by smallholder farmers. The coffee is of the Colombia and Castillo varieties, grown at altitudes of 1600-2040 masl. It undergoes a traditional washed process: hand-picked ripe cherries are fermented in water for 12-36 hours, washed, and dried on raised beds. The cup profile features notes of red apple, orange zest, and dark chocolate. This organic certified coffee is part of a sustainable project supporting small-scale producers through the InConexus de Café partnership.
