Summary

A coffee from the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta region of Colombia. Sol Naciente was created in 2008 to unite producers from Siberia and San Pedro townships in the municipality of Ciénaga, many of whom are victims of armed conflict participating in a land restitution program. The coffee is grown at 915 to 1219 meters elevation and features Caturra, Colombia, and Typica varieties. It undergoes a fully washed process with patio drying and is roasted to a medium-light level.
