Guadalupe's Pink Bourbon: Quickfang Raptor Lore
Summary
Pink Bourbon grown at Pedacito de Cielo, the family farm of Miguel Fajardo Mendoza and Andrea, on a sun-facing hillside above El Fénix in Calarcá, Quindío, Colombia, at around 1,900 masl. The trees were planted in August 2023, when their daughter Guadalupe was born, and the coffee is named after her; this release comes from one of the first small pickings before the first main harvest. Miguel processed it as a traditional washed lot with no extended fermentation to keep the cup transparent. Expect red and pink fruit — raspberry, strawberry, pink grapefruit, black cherry — with peach and apricot, gardenia and lily aromatics, and a cool cucumber-melon finish.
