Colombia Luis Felipe Leguizamo
Summary
Colombian microlot from Finca El Faldon, grown by Luis Felipe Leguizamo in San Agustin, Huila at 1,840 m. The Leguizamo family farm won first place at the Cup of Excellence in 2011. Rare Papayo variety, washed processing: hand-picked ripe cherries are pulped and fermented for 12 to 36 hours in open tanks, then fully washed and slowly dried on raised beds. Creamy and sweet with juicy stone fruit, caramel toffee, cashew and milk chocolate; on espresso it shows full body, caramel sweetness, bright citrus acidity, plum and orange.
