Costa Rica Don Alexis
Summary
Costa Rica Don Alexis is a specialty coffee from the Los Santos region in Costa Rica, produced by Don Alexis and the Ramirez-Navarro family at the Los Campos micro-mill. The Centroamericano (F1 hybrid) variety is grown at 1,750 meters above sea level and processed using the honey method. The cup has a delicate, creamy body with notes of white tea, juicy peach, sweet honey, and pine nuts. On filter it reveals sugar melon and persimmon fruitiness, while as espresso it offers nectarine acidity balanced by caramel sweetness and a dark chocolate finish. Roasted omni to suit all brew methods.
