Sumatra Hutan is a coffee from the Ketiara Co-operative in Aceh, Sumatra, produced by a group of smallholders. Grown at 1450-1700 MASL in the Bies area around Lake Laut Tawar, Central Aceh. Varieties: Gayo 1, Gayo 2. Processed using the Wet-Hulled (Giling Basah) method. Tasting notes: big-bodied, chocolatey, with subtle fruit notes and low acidity.
