Elida Torre
Summary
Washed Geisha from Elida Estate's Torre parcel in Alto Quiel, Boquete, Panama, grown at 1785-1835 masl on the slopes of the Barú Volcano. Robert Louis Lamastus founded the estate in 1918; the family is now in its fourth generation. Cherries are picked fully ripe, pulped the evening of harvest, fermented in cold highland water, washed clean, then dried using the family's Dark Room Dried (DRD) method, out of direct sunlight for slow, even drying. Tasting notes of white blossom, peach, bergamot and honey — a clean, expressive washed Geisha.
