Mazelab is a specialty coffee roaster in Prague, Czechia, the hands-on project of Jackie and Thu—life partners who met over a shared cup. They started roasting in May 2023 after years in specialty coffee, and their approach is refreshingly unfashionable: no chasing light or dark, no trend-hopping. Every bean is chosen for taste, character, and feeling, then roasted to reveal its natural complexity, sweetness, and clarity. The lineup skews toward single origins like these Ethiopian washed and honey lots, with flavor notes like apricot, yellow peach, and white floral. It's honest, thoughtful coffee from a small roastery with a designer's eye.
