Summary
A rare Ají variety coffee from producer José Herman Salazar's farm La Guaca in Pitalito, Colombia. This variety was discovered by José during cherry harvest and later confirmed by genetic testing to be a first-generation offspring from Ethiopian wild coffee forests, similar to Gesha. The coffee is processed naturally, resulting in an intense, jammy texture. Tasting notes include strawberry, caramelised peach, and grape. This lot placed 6th in the Colombia Cup of Excellence.
