Las Mercedes - Colombia - Decaffeinated

Summary

Decaffeinated Colombian coffee from Finca Las Mercedes in Antioquia, grown at 1800-2100 MASL by the Guerra family. Caturra variety, selectively hand harvested and pulped the same day, then fermented twice — 25 hours anaerobic followed by 25 hours aerobic — washed, graded via canal and dried on raised beds in the open sun. Decaffeinated using the CO2 process. Tasting notes of pear, raisin and brown sugar; a sweet, smooth, full-bodied cup.
