Piamonte

Summary

Piamonte is a Colombian microlot from Cumbres Estate in Ciudad Bolívar, Antioquia, produced by Sergio Álvarez. The Caturra variety is grown on the Piamonte farm, nestled in the foothills of the mountains beside a protected forest reserve. It undergoes a honey process with banana fermentation and is sun-dried on patios and in silos. The cup is bright, floral and fruit-forward, with notes of orange blossom honey, elderflower, lychee, star fruit and strawberry. Roasted medium light and suited to filter brewing such as V60, Chemex, French Press and AeroPress.
