This coffee comes from the Kayanza region of Burundi, grown at 1700m altitude near the Kibila Forest. It is produced by 1,074 smallholder farmers collaborating with Nemba Station, each cultivating small plots. The variety is Red Bourbon, processed using a yeast-inoculated fully washed method with LALCAFÉ ORO™ yeast for controlled fermentation. The coffee offers a sweet and fruit-forward profile with notes of red grape, plum, lemon curd, and cannelé. It is light roasted and intended for filter brewing.
