Ethiopia - Uraga | Espresso
Summary
This Ethiopian coffee comes from the Uraga washing station in Guji, a region once part of Yirgacheffe known for its unique microclimate. Grown at 1940 m from JARC/Heirloom local landraces (grade 1), it is processed using carbonic maceration, a technique borrowed from winemaking where cherry ferments in a sealed, carbon dioxide-rich environment. The cup opens with tropical sweetness and bright raspberry, followed by crisp lemon and orange blossom acidity, with juicy plum and strawberry adding depth and a distinct winey finish. Roasted medium for espresso.
