Summary
Half Speed is a low-caffeine espresso blend from Extract Coffee Roasters. It combines a Water EA decaffeinated coffee from a family-run farm in Brazil with two coffees from La Marianela in Colombia, one washed and one kiln-dried natural. Roasted to a medium level, it offers creamy notes of milk chocolate, fudge brownie and toffee sweetness. Versatile in the cup, it works well as an espresso (18g in, 36ml out, 25 seconds) or as a lighter filter or cafetiere brew, and pairs well with milk or alt milk.
