Ethiopia - Chelichele

Summary

Single origin filter roast from Chelichele, a high-altitude growing area in Yirgacheffe, southern Ethiopia. Grown by smallholder farming families on small plots around the villages of Worka Chelichele and delivered to the Worka Chelichele Washing Station for sorting and processing. Altitude approximately 1,945–1,970 metres above sea level. JARC varieties and local landraces, processed naturally: whole cherries are sorted and dried on raised beds with the fruit remaining around the seed. Bright fruit, floral aromas and exceptional sweetness, with strawberry, cherry, peach, jasmine and orange zest notes.
