Artist Reserve: Colombia Pablo Gómez - Washed Geisha
Summary
A washed Geisha from producer Pablo Gómez, grown at approximately 1,860 metres in Salgar, Antioquia, Colombia. Pablo's family planted the Geisha trees from Panamanian seed stock; he and his brother built the Go Bros. project around them, farming roughly 5,000 trees on about one hectare. Cherries are hand-picked and sorted to about 95% fully ripe, depulped immediately, fermented in open tanks for 72 hours, then washed and slowly dried on sun beds to around 12% moisture. The cup is transparent and composed, with strawberry cooler, jasmine, lychee, apricot and floral notes.
