Colombia Nitro
Summary
Colombia NITRO is a specialty-grade coffee from Finca Milan farm in the Risaralda region of Colombia, produced by farmer Julio Andres Quiceno. The coffee undergoes a unique nitro fermentation process in a bioreactor with fruit must, coconut, selected cultures, and fermentation extracts, followed by 20 days of sun drying and 5 days of mechanical post-drying. Grown at 1700m altitude on volcanic soil, it features Castillo and Caturra varieties. The cup profile offers an intensely sweet and aromatic experience with notes of fresh fruit, tropical fruits, mangosteen, floral sweetness, and a panela aftertaste, with a bubblegum-like sweetness. Medium roast, SCA score of 88.
