Summary
A decaffeinated specialty coffee from Vergel Estate in Tolima, Colombia, grown at 1,200–1,600 meters elevation. Varieties include Bourbon, Red Caturra, and Yellow Caturra. Processed using anaerobic fermentation (sealed in oxygen-free tanks for 48–60 hours) followed by natural processing, then decaffeinated via the sugarcane ethyl acetate (EA) method. Offers a bright, complex cup with notes of rum cake, tropical fruit, crispy rice chocolate, strawberry, honey, and cacao. Light roast. Awarded Silver at the 2025 Global Coffee Awards for Decaf Espresso.
