Colombia – Rodrigo Sanchez
Summary
A Gesha coffee from Finca Monteblanco, a family farm in Huila, Colombia, managed by fourth-generation producer Rodrigo Sánchez. Grown at 1,730 meters, this lot undergoes a meticulous Gold Grand Cru process involving Brix measurement, flotation, 48-hour Grain Pro fermentation, pulping, 12 more hours of fermentation, 60-hour anaerobic fermentation, washing, and drying. The cup is elegant and complex with notes of purple passion fruit, coconut milk, and croissant, balanced structure, and a long, refined finish.
