Migoti Hill - Burundi
Summary
Migoti Hill - Burundi is a washed Red Bourbon coffee from the Mutambu Commune, Bujumbura Province, Burundi. Produced by Migoti Coffee with contributions from 173 smallholders including lead farmer Thomas Kurubone. Grown at 1800 MASL, the coffee undergoes a washed process: one day fermentation, then pulped and washed, pre-dried in shade for 5 days, then sun-dried on raised beds for 2-3 weeks. Flavour notes include apples, blackberries, treacle and black tea, with darker sugars, tea-like florals and crisp malic acidity.
