Colombia La Loma Whiskey Barrel
Summary
Colombia La Loma Whiskey Barrel is a specialty coffee from the Huila region of Colombia, produced by Rodrigo Sanchez at the La Loma farm. This lot uses Caturra and Bourbon varieties, processed with a unique Whiskey Barrel Natural method. The coffee undergoes a 200-hour anaerobic fermentation with a culture of ten yeasts, wheat, millet, corn, and panela, followed by 30-35 days of natural drying and an additional 30 days resting in whiskey barrels. The cup profile features notes of rum, vanilla, amaretto, honey, and dark plum, offering a rich and intense experience.
