Negele Gorbitu - Ethiopia - Yirgacheffe - Anaerobic Natural
Summary
Ethiopian coffee from Yirgacheffe, produced by Daye Bensa and sourced via Tracon Coffee. Made up of local varieties Kurume, Dega and Wolisho, alongside JARC 74112 and 74158 and landraces Setami and Mekicho. Anaerobic natural process: cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness, floated to remove defects, then sun-dried on raised beds with constant turning. Grown above 2100 masl. A loud, funky cup that still tastes of Yirgacheffe, with notes of pineapple, blackberry and black cherry.
