Arsosala Reserve
Summary
ARSOSALA RESERVE is a washed coffee from the Arsosala Washing Station in the Guji region of Ethiopia. It features Mixed Heirloom varieties grown at 1900 meters altitude by approximately 1,200 smallholder producers in the Uraga district. The cup profile offers nectarine, lemon candy, fresh apricot, red grape, and delicate jasmine notes with a clean, bright acidity and syrupy sweetness. The coffee is washed with a special preparation: cherries are picked and de-pulped the same day, fermented for 8-12 hours in tanks, washed in water channels to remove mucilage, and dried on raised beds for 5-15 days.
