Maypop
Summary
Maypop is a single-origin coffee from Finca Milán in the Risaralda region of Colombia, produced by Andrès Julio Quiceno and Julio Madrid. The coffee is of the Caturra variety, grown at 1600 masl. It undergoes a Washed Culturing process, a controlled fermentation using a proprietary starter culture of selected yeasts and bacteria under anaerobic conditions for 6-8 days. The cup profile features passion fruit, lychee, maracuya, floral notes and peaches, with high sweetness and complexity. It is roasted as an omni roast suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
