Lalesa Ephtah

Summary

Lalesa Ephtah is a filter coffee from Ethiopia's Gedeo Zone, produced at the Ephtah Lalesa Washing Station. Whole cherries are fermented for five days in plastic barrels, then sun-dried for two weeks, a natural extended fermentation process. The cup is floral and peachy with blueberry and candy-like fruit flavours. The producer Ephtah focuses on women in coffee, with women-centred training and a quality premium for female producers.
