Half Caff (peru, Brazil)
Summary
Half Caff is a blend of 50% Decaf EA El Pato from Peru and 50% Sitio da Torre Obatã from Brazil. The Peruvian component is a washed Catuai, Pache and Catimor lot from 25 smallholders in the Tabaconas area of Cajamarca, decaffeinated using ethyl-acetate. The Brazilian component is a natural processed Obatã variety from Álvaro Coli's Sitio da Torre farm in the Mantiqueira de Minas region. Tasting notes include baked apple, candied hazelnuts, praline and red berries. Both components are light roasted.
