Strawberries And Cream | Ethiopia
Summary
A Grade 1 kombucha natural from the Urabeast station in Uraga, southern Guji Zone, Ethiopia, at around 2,037 MASL. The station works with some 2,500 smallholder farmers from Suke and Tobutu who handpick ripe cherry from small plots grown among native shade trees. Whole cherries undergo a controlled, kombucha-inspired fermentation before a slow dry. Varieties 74110 and 74112. In the cup: ripe strawberry, smooth vanilla cream and a light lemon lift, finishing with lingering candy-like sweetness. Light roast.
