Blue Bonbon | Ethiopia
Summary
A Supernatural Grade 1 single origin from Gargari Gutity in the Gedeb district of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia, grown at around 1,983 MASL. The station works with some 3,200 smallholder farmers cultivating varieties 74110, 74112 and 74165. The Supernatural process extends fermentation and drying, with whole cherries dried slowly in thick layers under restricted sunlight and airflow to build expressive fruit while keeping the cup clean. In the cup it opens with nostalgic blue raspberry bonbon sweetness, juicy red currants, candy-like layers and a delicate floral lift, carrying into a long, playful finish.
